Erin Besser, Psy.D.

I earned my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from George Fox University. Prior to joining MindSights, I completed my pre-doctoral training through Kaiser Permanente’s APA accredited internship program in Fresno, CA. Over the course of my doctoral training, I provided neurocognitive assessments and psychotherapy to children, teens, and adults within a variety of healthcare settings. Prior to my doctorate, I earned a master of science in Applied Psychology. I have provided behavioral therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as intensive outpatient therapy for children and families involved in the child welfare system.

I have provided clinical services to address a wide range of challenges and populations since 2008, and developed a passion for complex neurocognitive assessments across the lifespan. I particularly enjoy assessing children and teens to address neurodevelopmental, learning, emotional, and behavioral questions, and aim to help families identify and build upon their child’s strengths, support areas of challenge, and identify opportunities for positive change.
