I earned my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology from Pacific University. After completing an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the Portland VA Medical Center and Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), I completed my postdoctoral fellowship in the Departments of Behavioral Neuroscience and Psychiatry at Doernbecher Hospital at OHSU. My areas of expertise and interest are in child and adolescent assessment of learning disorders, attention and executive functioning issues, depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delay, trauma related disorders, and disruptive behaviors.
I have over 20 years of experience working in child and adolescent mental health in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient mental health clinics, primary care, residential treatment centers, group homes, private practice, college campuses, and K-12 schools. In addition to being a licensed clinical psychologist, I am also a licensed school psychologist. For the past 14 years, I have worked and continue to work in schools providing counseling, psychoeducational assessment, and consultation services. My experience within schools allows me to provide a unique perspective for families in knowing how to best navigate school systems to support students with specialized needs.
