I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. Prior to joining MindSights for my residency, I completed the APA-accredited internship program at Pacific University’s Psychology and Comprehensive Health Clinics where I assessed for a broad range of concerns including ADHD and learning, mood, and trauma-related disorders.

Prior to my doctoral program, I worked for five years as a counselor, academic advisor, and administrator to college and university students.

I have provided therapy, assessment and consultation services in a variety of settings, from clients’ homes to schools, community mental health centers, and an integrated health clinic for the homeless.  I am passionate about clarifying each client’s unique strengths and needs and collaborating with caregivers and supporters to figure out the best ways to reduce or remove barriers to their enjoyment of living, learning, and playing.  I especially like the challenge of making complex information applicable to a client’s everyday life in a way that is clear, useful and engaging.

I love having the opportunity to work with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers at MindSights, but I enjoy working with clients of all ages.
