I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from George Fox University and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy prior to receiving my doctorate. My graduate training focused on assessment and therapy with people of all ages, in a variety of settings.

My experience providing individual, group, marital and family services over the past 12 years has provided me a crucial understanding of how relationships, particularly early ones, impact emotional and behavioral health. I view each person from a holistic perspective, taking into account their individual “pre-sets” (temperament, traits), relationship experiences, environmental stressors, spiritual traditions, gender experience, ethnic & cultural identity, physical health, traumatic stress, and cognitive/intellectual abilities.

My clinical interests are in psychological and neuropsychological testing with both children and adults to help them understand their unique “wiring” and abilities, so they can have the highest possible quality of life. I am particularly interested in helping others understand complicated and complex diagnostic problems, as well as making sense of how the various areas of life impact a child’s overall functioning and well-being.
