Tamara Randall, Psy.D.

About Tamara (she/her/hers)

I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University. After completing an APA-Accredited internship at the University of Washington Counseling Center, I split my post-doctoral residency year between NW Portland DBT and MindSights.

Becoming a psychologist is my second career and my first true calling. I am a first-generation college graduate and I enjoy working with students and youth. After earning my B.A. in Spanish from Portland State University I began my career in the non-profit world and then transitioned to working in student affairs at the community college level, eventually earning my first Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. My areas of expertise are in working with BIPOC youth, and families. As a Mexican-American in the behavioral health field, I prioritize providing culturally informed care and view issues within a social justice framework.

In my non-work life, I am passionate about being a dog mom to my spunky Shih Tzu and I enjoy exploring new restaurants in Portland with my husband.
