Aaron Miller, Psy.D.

About Aaron (he/him/his)

I earned my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University. Over the past 15 years in the mental/behavioral health field I have worked broadly with children, adolescents, and families. This has included work in educational day treatment programs, community mental health, residential treatment, psychiatric facilities, and forensic settings.

My doctoral training in clinical psychology included emphases on child/adolescent psychology and forensic psychology. As part of this training, I completed an APA accredited internship in an adolescent psychiatric facility. After earning my doctorate, I completed an ABPP-waiver post-doctoral fellowship in a hospital setting focused on forensic evaluation in child abuse cases.

Immediately prior to joining the Mindsights team, I worked with the New York City Family Court to provide psychological evaluations in cases of child abuse and child maltreatment. Prior to my doctoral education and training, I worked as a middle school teacher, a football and wrestling coach, direct-care staff in residential treatment facilities, and as a master’s-level therapist for adolescents who had been adjudicated for sexual offenses.
