About Michelle (she/her/hers)

Hello! I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Family Psychology in 2019 at Azusa Pacific University, which is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). Before entering my current position as a licensed psychologist, I completed my full-time APA-approved internship through Morrison Child and Family Services. In addition, I held an externship position at MindSights psychological testing and assessment services during my internship year and completed my postdoctoral residency training through Mindsights.

Prior to my graduate studies, I worked as a psychometrist, providing psychological testing to children and adolescents. This opportunity sparked my interest for pediatric psychological assessment and shaped my graduate training. I have extensive experience working in various settings including private practice, school-based services, and community mental health in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Greater Los Angeles Area. Using a strengths-based and family systems oriented framework, I have worked with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds and addressed concerns including Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disorders, language and communication disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I strive to highlight each child’s unique strengths and advocate for supports in areas of weakness.
