Roxanne Edwinson, Ph.D.

About Roxanne (she/her/hers)

I completed my doctorate in School Psychology at the University of Arizona, and am licensed as a psychologist by the Oregon Board of Psychologist Examiners. My training background was dedicated to a holistic understanding of the individual- and systems-based needs of children from infancy through young adulthood. These training experiences highlighted the integral role of education and development in the lives of youth and their caretakers. My training also focused on understanding the reciprocal relationship between academic or neurodevelopmental delays and mental health conditions.

My clinical experiences across California, Arizona, and Oregon have allowed me to conduct psychological services among diverse populations. I have worked with children, teens, and families at community mental health, inpatient pediatric, outpatient psychiatry, juvenile detention, private practice, and educational settings. These experiences have involved working with youth who present with a variety of concerns, including behavioral difficulties, anxiety disorders, trauma-related stressors, academic problems, dysfunctional family dynamics, and neurodevelopmental delays. My particular interest is in working with youth who have experienced maltreatment and those involved with child welfare services.
