Yaneli Ornelas, Psy.D.
About Yaneli (she/her/hers)
I earned my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University, Fresno campus. I completed my APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at the Counseling and Testing Center (CTC) at the University of Idaho, where I provided psychological services in English and Spanish. Over the course of my clinical training, I provided psychotherapy and psychological assessments to adolescents and adults with a wide range of concerns. My clinical interests include understanding trauma and acknowledging the intersecting identities (e.g. ethnicity, gender, language, etc.) that play a role in a child’s experiences. My focus with assessments is to highlight a child’s unique experiences, strengths and needs to provide the appropriate support that would allow them to thrive.
